Kate Spade New York seeks a Seasonal Stylist in Arvin, California to provide expert styling guidance and exceptional customer service in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs through insightful questioning to understand aesthetic preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and curate complete looks tailored to individual customer preferences
- Showcase multiple styling approaches and encourage customers to explore new styles through creative presentation
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Work flexibly across nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail periods including public holidays
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and drive sales through consultative selling is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
