Kate Spade New York Seasonal Stylist — part-time role in Arvin, California advising customers and styling product at Outlets at Tejon.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests with warmth and authoritative product knowledge, cultivating rapport and trust.
- Deliver personalised styling consultations; assemble complete looks and recommend complementary items to increase basket size.
- Demonstrate creative ways to wear and integrate product across categories, using storytelling to inspire purchase decisions.
- Execute efficient point-of-sale transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, inventory handling and visual presentation on the sales floor.
- Adopt omnichannel selling techniques (including virtual selling) and support social-media-driven client engagement.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback; celebrate customer choices and encourage repeat visits.
- Work a flexible schedule to support peak periods, weekends, evenings and public holidays; perform regular lifting and stock movement as required.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing role.
- Comfort with multitasking, prioritisation and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Familiarity with social media and openness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasional lifts up to 50 lbs) and to climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrated selling ability and customer service acumen; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or training in fashion, merchandising or retail sales is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
