Kate Spade New York in Arvin, CA is hiring a part-time Seasonal Stylist to provide styling, drive sales and support omnichannel retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, build rapport and demonstrate deep product knowledge across categories.
- Conduct needs-based conversations; listen actively and ask exploratory questions to curate product selections.
- Provide styling advice, assemble complete looks and suggest complementary items to increase average transaction value.
- Demonstrate creative merchandising on the sales floor by showing multiple ways to wear products and encouraging style experimentation.
- Support a seamless checkout experience, including accurate POS transactions and efficient point-of-sale procedures.
- Maintain operational standards: organize the sales floor, manage stockroom inventory and assist with replenishment.
- Champion brand storytelling to drive sales results and cultivate repeat customers.
- Accept and give constructive feedback; collaborate closely with peers and leadership to meet store objectives.
- Perform physical tasks required by retail operations, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and maneuvering throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience working in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to adopt omnichannel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or fluency in the local market language).
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Experience
Entry-level retail experience required; prior sales or styling experience preferred. Demonstrated track record of customer engagement and achieving sales targets is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
