Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and establish rapport; assess needs through active listening and targeted questions.
  • Deliver personalised styling advice and build complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product across categories.
  • Drive sales through storytelling, suggest complementary items and close transactions using the POS system.
  • Curate visual presentation on the sales floor and use creative merchandising to demonstrate multiple ways to wear product.
  • Maintain operational excellence: organise the stockroom, manage inventory replenishment and execute accurate POS transactions.
  • Support omni-channel and virtual selling activities; engage customers via social media and digital touchpoints when required.
  • Ensure a seamless checkout experience and reinforce customer choices to encourage repeat visits.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or accessories.
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritising in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail setting.
  • Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend and manoeuvre around the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

Previous retail experience is required; prior experience selling fashion or accessories and demonstrated success meeting sales goals is strongly preferred.

Education
