Kate Spade New York is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Michigan. $15–$19.50/hr, part-time position with flexible scheduling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and confidently while demonstrating expert product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and styling preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest coordinating pieces, and create complete looks that showcase product versatility
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections, compelling brand storytelling, and solution-oriented selling
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, building loyalty and encouraging repeat visits
- Demonstrate proficiency with omnichannel and virtual selling techniques while leveraging social media awareness
- Lift and maneuver merchandise and supplies (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs) while working the sales floor and stockroom
- Give and receive constructive feedback in a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a dynamic team setting
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods
- Proficiency in English or local market language
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and maneuver merchandise
- Professional appearance and alignment with Kate Spade brand aesthetic

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrated ability to provide consultative customer service and achieve sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal degree requirement.

The successful candidate will be located in Novi, Michigan, USA, with easy access to Detroit.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
