Kate Spade seeks a Seasonal Sales Associate in Novi, MI (Twelve Oaks Mall) to deliver styling-led customer service and drive retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and engage guests; assess needs through active listening and thoughtful questioning.
- Provide personalised styling advice, assemble complete looks, and suggest complementary additions to increase basket size.
- Deliver compelling brand storytelling and product knowledge across categories to drive sales results.
- Execute efficient, accurate Point of Sale (POS) transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom: merchandising, replenishment and inventory organization.
- Use creativity to demonstrate multiple ways to wear and combine product, encouraging customers to explore new styles.
- Cultivate repeat business by reinforcing customer choices and inviting future visits.
- Give and receive constructive feedback; collaborate with team members to meet store targets and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience, preferably within fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work cooperatively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with social media and a willingness to adopt omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market).
- Ability to frequently lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Previous retail sales experience is required; experience in styling, fashion or lifestyle merchandising and a track record of meeting sales targets is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Novi, Michigan, USA, with easy access to Detroit.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
