Kate Spade in Commerce, CA seeks a part-time Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver styling-led customer service at Citadel Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and authoritative product knowledge; cultivate long-term customer relationships through attentive listening and personalised styling.
- Provide styling advice, assemble complete looks and recommend add-ons to increase basket depth and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver an elevated checkout experience and execute POS transactions accurately while maintaining conversion focus.
- Use creative merchandising on the sales floor to demonstrate multiple ways to wear products and inspire customer exploration.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise stockroom inventory, replenish floor sets, assist with receiving and stock counts.
- Drive sales through storytelling and strong customer connections; follow up to encourage repeat visits.
- Give and receive constructive feedback; collaborate with the store team to meet daily and seasonal business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling techniques and basic social media awareness.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail days.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; capable of climbing, bending and prolonged periods on the sales floor.

Experience
Prior retail sales experience is required; customer-facing styling or luxury retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or training in fashion, merchandising or retail is a plus.
