Kate Spade seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate in Livermore, California, to manage deliveries, maintain inventory and stockroom organization, replenish the selling floor, execute price changes, and support compliance and shrinkage goals. The role requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound deliveries promptly and monitor and prioritize daily workload.
- Organize merchandise and maintain its accessibility in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
- Maintain knowledge of stock levels, unit counts, and sales performance.
- Support floor moves and keep the selling floor stocked throughout the day.
- Execute price changes and markdowns as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across the selling floor, stockroom, and offsite locations or warehouse.
- Audit compliance and work toward achieving shrinkage goals.
Qualifications
- Previous retail service experience and a passion for retail and the service industry.
- Excellent client service and communication skills, including the ability to maneuver the sales floor and engage multiple customers.
- Strong communication skills and an elevated sense of personal style.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver through the sales floor and stockroom.
