Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, verify and process inbound deliveries promptly; prioritize and manage daily workload to maintain store readiness.
- Organize and maintain stockroom and selling-floor inventory for accessibility and merchandising standards.
- Support daily floor replenishment and execute merchandising moves to ensure the selling floor remains fully stocked.
- Perform price changes and markdowns accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across selling floor, stockroom and offsite/warehouse spaces.
- Monitor stock levels, unit counts and sales performance; assist in inventory audits and shrinkage-reduction initiatives.
- Assist sales team with customer-facing tasks as required and adopt omni-channel/virtual selling practices when needed.
- Perform regular physical tasks including lifting (regularly to 25 lbs, occasionally to 50 lbs), bending, climbing and kneeling.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or service-industry experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; ability to engage multiple customers on the sales floor.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and prioritize competing demands.
- Awareness of social media and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- Capable of meeting a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail service experience is required; hands-on experience with receiving, stockroom operations and floor replenishment preferred. Demonstrated customer service competence in a fast-paced retail environment is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
