Kate Spade Sales Support Associate in Chester, New York. Part-time retail operations role managing inventory, deliveries, and store operations. $15–$17/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and process inbound deliveries promptly; monitor and prioritize daily workload
- Organize and maintain accessibility of merchandise in stockroom and selling floor
- Maintain knowledge of stock levels, unit counts, and sales performance
- Support floor moves and ensure selling floor is consistently stocked throughout the day
- Execute price changes and markdowns as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization standards across selling floor, stockroom, and offsite warehouse
- Audit compliance and work toward achieving shrinkage goals
- Lift and maneuver merchandise up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly; climb, bend, and kneel as needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail service experience with demonstrated passion for retail and the service industry
- Excellent client service and communication skills; ability to maneuver the sales floor and engage multiple customers
- Strong communication and elevated sense of personal style
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift, climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom regularly
Skills
Experience
Previous retail service experience required; demonstrated knowledge of stockroom operations and floor management preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
