Kate Spade New York is hiring a Sales Supervisor at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Michigan. Lead retail floor operations, team management, and drive sales excellence. $16–$24.75/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal sales performance and lead the team to achieve sales and KPI targets, analyzing metrics and implementing best practices for continuous improvement
- Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, ensuring exceptional in-store and after-sales experiences aligned with Kate Spade service standards
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors, acting as a brand ambassador who sets the tone on the sales floor and leads by example
- Coach team members on goals and performance; support recruitment, onboarding, role modeling, and ongoing training initiatives
- Provide performance feedback to store leadership on individual team members and advocate for team development needs
- Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse culture that empowers teams to thrive authentically
- Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and key-holding responsibilities
- Accurately process POS transactions and manage inventory functions, including transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, and damages
- Maintain an organized stockroom and direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping and digital engagement
- Lead customer data capture to grow loyalty programs and repeat purchases
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Work flexible schedules to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
- Regularly lift at least 25 lbs. (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role (luxury/premium retail preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff and confidently navigate the sales floor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
- Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
2+ years of retail service experience in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Education
