Kate Spade New York seeks a Sales Supervisor in New York to lead retail operations, drive sales, and build high-performance teams in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and team sales performance while analyzing metrics and implementing best practices to achieve and exceed targets
- Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, modeling Kate Spade service behaviors, and ensuring exceptional in-store and after-sales experiences
- Coach team members on performance goals and support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training and development
- Provide constructive feedback on individual performance and advocate for team members' growth and career progression
- Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and key-holding responsibilities
- Process POS transactions accurately and oversee inventory functions such as transfers, receiving, shipments, and damages to maintain inventory integrity
- Manage stockroom organization and direct timely replenishment to ensure sales floor availability
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping and brand-safe social media engagement
- Lead customer data capture initiatives to grow loyalty programs and drive repeat purchases
- Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse team culture that empowers authentic engagement
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail management or floor leadership roles, preferably in luxury or premium retail environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to navigate customer and staff interactions confidently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
- Social media literacy and awareness of platform trends
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, with capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
2+ years of retail management or floor leadership experience in a service environment, preferably luxury or premium retail
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail management experience will be considered

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17 to USD 27.75 per hour.
