Kate Spade New York seeks a Sales Supervisor in Chesterfield, Missouri to lead retail operations, drive sales performance, and coach store teams in a luxury fashion retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal sales performance and lead the team to achieve sales and KPI targets; analyze metrics and implement best practices to improve results and efficiency
- Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach and exceptional in-store experiences; lead outreach initiatives to drive repeat business and VIP retention
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors ('host of the party'—meet, greet, create conversations) to set the tone for strong relationships and customer needs discovery
- Coach team members on goals and performance; support recruitment, onboarding, role modeling, and ongoing development
- Provide feedback to store leadership on individual performance and development needs; advocate for team member growth and empowerment
- Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse culture that empowers teams to thrive authentically
- Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and facility security (key-holding responsibilities)
- Accurately process point-of-sale transactions and inventory functions (transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, damages) to maintain inventory integrity
- Organize and manage the stockroom; direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping and brand-safe social media engagement
- Lead customer data capture to grow the loyalty program and encourage repeat purchases
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role (luxury/premium retail preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and proactive with exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff and confidently navigate the sales floor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
- Comfort with omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom

Experience
2+ years of retail service experience in a management or floor leadership role, preferably in luxury or premium retail; a combination of education and related experience will be considered
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, retail management, or related field is preferred but not required

The successful candidate will be located in Chesterfield, Missouri, United States of America, with easy access to St. Louis.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 23.75 per hour.
