Kate Spade New York seeks a seasonal Sales Stylist in Smithfield, North Carolina. Part-time, $15–$19.50/hr, available Black Friday.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
  • Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Provide styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that showcase product versatility
  • Use creativity to demonstrate multiple ways to wear and style products, encouraging customers to explore new styles
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
  • Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
  • Drive sales results through strong customer connections and brand storytelling
  • Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, merchandising, and POS transactions
  • Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Prior experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
  • English language proficiency
  • Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
