Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, establishing rapport and demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs, aesthetic preferences, and lifestyle requirements
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete, cohesive looks tailored to individual customers
- Showcase creative styling possibilities and encourage customers to explore new styles and products
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, elevated checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting repeat visits and building brand loyalty
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, product storytelling, and demonstration of deep brand knowledge
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate point-of-sale transactions
- Contribute constructively to team dynamics by giving and receiving honest, actionable feedback
- Work flexibly to support business needs, including evening, weekend, and peak retail periods
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail sales or customer-facing environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluent English proficiency
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; comfortable climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering sales floor and stockroom areas
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
