Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and build lasting relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling and product expertise.
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge across handbags, accessories, and ready-to-wear to advise on styling and fit.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately, and manage cash handling and daily reconciliation.
  • Contribute to merchandising standards: visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and housekeeping to brand presentation guidelines.
  • Support inventory operations including receiving, cycle counts, loss prevention and reporting discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with store leadership on promotions, events and store initiatives; assist with training junior staff when required.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience, preferably 2+ years in premium or luxury fashion or accessories.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and executing clienteling activities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric orientation.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
  • Professional presentation and alignment with the Kate Spade brand image.

Experience

Minimum of two years' retail sales experience, ideally within a premium or luxury fashion environment, with demonstrated success in client acquisition, retention and achieving sales KPIs.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary study in fashion, merchandising or business is advantageous.
