Kate Spade (Tanger Outlets Pittsburgh, Washington PA) is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate to deliver styling, drive sales and support omnichannel retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, establish rapport, and diagnose customer needs through active listening and insightful questioning.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade products across categories.
- Drive sales and conversion through consultative selling, storytelling and thoughtful product recommendations, including add-ons and complementary items.
- Execute omnichannel selling and virtual selling activities as required, supporting buy-online/pick-up and other customer journeys.
- Operate POS terminals, complete accurate transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom: replenish merchandise, conduct visual merchandising and organise inventory.
- Manage returns and exchanges in accordance with brand policy and communicate promotions and loyalty programmes to customers.
- Provide honest, constructive feedback and collaborate with the store team to meet store KPIs and customer service standards.
- Perform physical tasks required by retail operations, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and routine movement around the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Proven interpersonal and professional selling skills with strong verbal communication.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; experience with fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands preferred.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise under pressure and work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks associated with retail operations.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience is required. Experience in fashion, accessories or lifestyle retail and familiarity with omnichannel selling methods is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or vocational training in fashion, retail or visual merchandising is a plus.

This position is based in Washington, Pennsylvania, USA, within easy reach of Pittsburgh.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
