Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Washington, Pennsylvania (Tanger Outlets Pittsburgh) to provide styling-led customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, confident customer interactions that identify needs and translate them into curated product recommendations and complete looks.
- Provide personalised styling guidance and storytelling to drive conversion, basket size and long-term client loyalty.
- Execute omnichannel sales tactics including virtual selling and social media-driven client engagement.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including POS transactions, merchandising and inventory organisation.
- Support checkout efficiency, returns handling and after-sale follow-up while reinforcing brand standards and customer experience.
- Uphold loss-prevention procedures and physical requirements of the role (regularly lift ~25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Proven retail selling ability with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a retail or boutique environment; demonstrated customer service orientation.
- Comfort with multitasking in a high-traffic retail setting and collaborating within a team.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and willingness to adopt omnichannel/virtual selling methods.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.

Previous retail experience is required; candidates should demonstrate a track record of client-focused selling and the ability to meet sales targets through personalised styling and consultative service. Specific tenure is not stipulated.
