Kate Spade seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Waipahu, Hawaii (Waikele Premium Outlets) to deliver client-focused styling and retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests with warmth and strong product knowledge; act as a trusted advisor to discover and articulate customers’ personal style.
- Provide styling guidance and create complete looks, upsell complementary items, and encourage exploration of new product combinations.
- Drive sales through storytelling, relationship-building and targeted clienteling across in-store and virtual channels.
- Execute point-of-sale transactions accurately and maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Organize merchandise, manage inventory in the stockroom, and perform regular visual merchandising to brand standards.
- Adapt to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, high-traffic periods and public holidays; assist with fitting, lifting and floor maintenance as required.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing environment; proven ability to achieve sales targets preferred.
- Comfort with multitasking, prioritising, and collaborating effectively within a team.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; capacity to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre in a retail environment.
