Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand lifestyle and aesthetic preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that showcase product versatility
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure smooth, efficient checkout transactions
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and point-of-sale transactions
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections, compelling brand storytelling, and consultative selling techniques
- Support omni-channel selling initiatives and develop competency in social media awareness and virtual selling platforms
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team setting
- English proficiency appropriate to the Canadian market
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and retail holidays
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in a luxury or lifestyle brand setting, with demonstrated success in customer service and sales.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
