Kate Spade in Torrance, CA seeks a part-time Sales Associate III at Del Amo Fashion Center to deliver styling-led customer service and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, confident customer greeting and one-to-one styling consultations that align product recommendations with the customer’s lifestyle and aesthetic.
  • Provide styling advice and create complete looks, demonstrating multiple ways to wear and combine product categories to drive add-on sales.
  • Build customer relationships through active listening, insightful questioning and celebratory reinforcement to encourage repeat visits.
  • Execute point-of-sale transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience while maintaining operational standards on the sales floor.
  • Maintain stockroom organisation, assist with visual merchandising and ensure product presentation reflects brand standards.
  • Use storytelling and product knowledge to achieve sales targets and contribute to store performance.
  • Adopt omnichannel selling practices, including virtual selling and social media engagement, to extend client outreach.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional selling skills with exemplary interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail experience, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brand environments.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
  • Physical capability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
  • English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market).

Experience

Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrable customer-facing sales performance; experience delivering styling advice and closing sales preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
