Kate Spade New York seeks a Sales Associate in Sweetwater, Florida. Drive customer engagement and styling at this part-time retail position ($15.00–$19.25/hr).
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and aesthetic preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice and create complete looks using product combinations
- Suggest complementary items and add-ons to enhance the customer's purchase experience
- Showcase multiple ways to wear and style products to encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience via POS systems
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, building loyalty and encouraging repeat visits
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and sales floor presentation
- Develop and demonstrate deep knowledge of brand heritage, product attributes, and seasonal collections
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive, professional manner to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Proficiency in English or local language per market requirements
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
