Kate Spade New York seeks a part‑time Sales Associate in Sunbury, Ohio (Tanger Outlets) to deliver personalised styling and elevated customer experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confidence, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge.
- Conduct consultative styling conversations to identify customer needs and create complete looks, recommending add‑ons and cross‑category solutions.
- Drive sales through storytelling, relationship building and proactive clienteling across in‑store and virtual channels.
- Execute point‑of‑sale transactions accurately and maintain operational standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Maintain visual presentation and merchandise flow; assist with stock replenishment and inventory organisation.
- Adapt schedule to business needs, working nights, weekends, peak retail periods and holidays when required.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Previous retail experience, preferably within fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Comfort with omni‑channel selling and willingness to develop virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor.

Experience
Prior retail experience is required; candidates should demonstrate a track record of customer engagement, product knowledge and achieving sales objectives in a store environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or training in fashion, retail or visual merchandising is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be located in Sunbury, Ohio, USA, with easy access to Columbus.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
