Kate Spade is hiring a Part-time Stylist in Santa Clara, CA (Westfield Valley Fair). Join the team to deliver personalised styling and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and build rapport with customers; ask targeted questions to identify lifestyle and styling needs.
- Deliver personalised styling advice and create complete looks that showcase Kate Spade product combinations.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggestive selling and effective product merchandising across categories.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and ensure a smooth, efficient checkout experience.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, inventory replenishment and visual presentation.
- Support omnichannel customer interactions and adopt virtual selling techniques when required.
- Perform physical tasks as needed on the sales floor and stockroom, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; styling or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling methods.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; able to climb, bend and manoeuvre the sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience is required, ideally with hands-on customer-facing sales and styling responsibilities. Experience using POS systems and supporting omnichannel customer interactions is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or formal training in fashion, visual merchandising, or a related discipline is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Santa Clara, California, USA, with easy access to San Jose.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
