Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating exceptional product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
  • Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic and lifestyle needs
  • Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
  • Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles through creative presentation
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience via POS systems
  • Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to foster brand loyalty and encourage repeat visits
  • Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and sales floor presentation
  • Demonstrate proficiency in omni-channel and virtual selling techniques, leveraging social media awareness
  • Give and receive constructive feedback in an honest, transparent manner
  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets through consistent performance

Qualifications

  • Prior retail experience in a customer-facing role
  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering the sales floor and stockroom
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
  • Flexibility to work a schedule including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days (including public holidays)
