Kate Spade is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate in Rosemont, IL to deliver styling-led retail experiences and omni-channel service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage guests with warmth and authority, demonstrating thorough product knowledge and brand DNA.
  • Conduct consultative styling sessions to discover customers’ preferences and assemble complete looks that integrate Kate Spade products.
  • Recommend complementary items and cross-category add-ons to elevate average transaction value while preserving client fit and taste.
  • Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use product assortments to inspire exploration and repeat visits.
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, efficient point-of-sale experience.
  • Maintain operational excellence: organise the stockroom, execute accurate POS transactions, and support inventory replenishment.
  • Contribute to team performance by giving and receiving constructive feedback and supporting store initiatives.
  • Adapt to omni-channel selling activities, including virtual consultations and social-led outreach, to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Perform light physical duties as required: lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre the salesfloor and stockroom.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably within fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Familiarity with social media and a willingness to develop omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
  • English proficiency (or local language proficiency where applicable) and comfort engaging diverse customer demographics.

Experience
