Kate Spade (Tapestry) seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Rosemont, IL (Fashion Outlets of Chicago) to deliver styling-led client service and omni-channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers with warmth and confidence, demonstrating authoritative product knowledge across categories.
- Actively listen and ask insightful questions to identify customer needs and deliver personalised styling advice.
- Create complete looks by suggesting add-ons and alternative ways to wear products to maximise basket and client satisfaction.
- Drive sales through storytelling and authentic client relationships; guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a smooth checkout.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including POS transactions, inventory care and merchandising standards.
- Adopt and apply omni-channel and virtual selling techniques; encourage repeat visits and deepen long-term client loyalty.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment demonstrating customer-focused results.
- Comfort with omni-channel retail practices and willingness to learn virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy season and public holidays.
- Capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and manoeuvre between sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail sales experience is required; demonstrated success in client-facing roles and a track record of meeting sales targets is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
