Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
  • Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand aesthetic preferences and lifestyle requirements
  • Provide personalized styling advice, suggest coordinating products, and create complete looks that align with customer preferences
  • Use creativity and storytelling to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience using point-of-sale systems
  • Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting them to return and building long-term relationships
  • Drive sales results through strong customer connections, exceptional service, and deep brand knowledge across all product categories
  • Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or luxury goods

  • Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
  • English proficiency (bilingual an asset in Canadian markets)
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and busy retail days, including public holidays
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
