Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear and incorporate Kate Spade products into customers' existing wardrobes
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout and POS transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
- Maintain deep knowledge of brand heritage, product attributes, and seasonal collections
- Execute operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS procedures
- Demonstrate willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- Work collaboratively with team members and provide/receive constructive feedback
- Handle physical demands including lifting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering the sales floor and stockroom
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail sales or customer service environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong product knowledge and ability to quickly master new category information
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, public holidays, and peak shopping periods
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver
- English language proficiency (or local market language proficiency as applicable)
