Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confidence, demonstrating strong knowledge of Kate Spade product lines and brand DNA.
  • Conduct consultative styling conversations to discover customer preferences and assemble complete, on-brand looks that drive attachment and basket size.
  • Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use product; recommend complementary items and add-ons to complete looks.
  • Execute transactions and client follow-up accurately using POS systems; ensure a seamless checkout experience.
  • Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including merchandising, replenishment and loss-prevention practices.
  • Support omnichannel initiatives by learning and applying omni/virtual selling techniques and social media engagement where appropriate.
  • Work a flexible schedule to support store traffic peaks, including nights, weekends, holidays and seasonal events.
  • Perform physical tasks required for retail operations, including regular lifting of at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuvering throughout the sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail experience in a customer-facing role; experience in fashion or lifestyle brands preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
