Kate Spade is hiring a Part‑time Sales Associate in Pittsburgh, PA (Ross Park Mall) to deliver styling-led customer service and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and establish rapport; demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across categories.
  • Conduct needs-based conversations, ask insightful follow-up questions and translate customer preferences into curated looks.
  • Provide styling advice, suggest complementary items and assemble complete outfits to drive average transaction value.
  • Showcase multiple ways to wear and integrate products, using creativity to inspire customers to explore new styles.
  • Execute flawless point-of-sale transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
  • Maintain operational excellence: organize stockroom inventory, receive and process shipments, and support visual merchandising on the sales floor.
  • Deliver on sales targets via storytelling and strong customer relationships; actively participate in omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives.
  • Reinforce customer choices, invite repeat visits and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere.
  • Perform physical tasks as required (regularly lift at least 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs) and maintain availability for a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and peak retail periods.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail experience demonstrating customer-facing performance and sales results.
  • Comfortable multitasking, prioritizing responsibilities and collaborating within a team environment.
  • Social media awareness and a willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling techniques.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and high-traffic retail days.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver merchandise and stockroom items (regularly 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs).
  • English proficiency.
