Kate Spade is hiring a part-time Sales Associate in Pismo Beach, CA (Pismo Beach Premium Outlets). Join a creative, customer-focused retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional in-store customer service by greeting guests warmly, actively listening to needs and acting as a trusted style advisor.
- Provide personalised styling recommendations, create complete looks, suggest relevant add-ons and demonstrate multiple ways to wear product.
- Drive sales through storytelling and relationship-building while meeting individual and store targets.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and ensure a seamless checkout experience for customers.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including inventory organisation and replenishment.
- Support omnichannel selling and virtual client interactions, promoting social and digital touchpoints where appropriate.
- Work a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; perform routine physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfortable using social media and learning omnichannel/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market).

Prior retail experience is required; candidates should demonstrate a history of customer-facing selling, styling or advisory roles and a track record of achieving or contributing to sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
