Kate Spade New York seeks a Seasonal Sales Associate in Orlando, Florida. Part-time retail position offering $15–$19.50/hour plus benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products through creative storytelling and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience via POS systems
- Reinforce customer choices and build loyalty by inviting patrons to return
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and store standards
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive manner and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrate awareness of social media trends and willingness to support omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing sales environment
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in English or local market language
- Flexibility to work variable retail schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak trading periods
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom environment
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion, accessories, or lifestyle retail, is required. Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service and drive sales through genuine product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in retail management, fashion, or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
