Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, confident guest service and build trusted relationships through active listening and insightful questions.
- Offer personalised styling advice and assemble complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade products across categories.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggest appropriate add-ons, and close transactions while ensuring a seamless checkout experience (POS).
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge, highlight multiple ways to wear items, and encourage customers to explore new styles.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, assist with inventory and replenishment, and uphold visual standards.
- Adopt omni-channel selling behaviours and support virtual or social-led selling initiatives as required.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Comfortable multitasking, prioritising responsibilities and collaborating within a team.
- Social media awareness and a willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
