Kate Spade (Oak Brook, IL) seeks a part-time Sales Associate to deliver styling-led customer experiences at Oakbrook Center.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with warmth and confidence, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all categories.
- Act as a trusted stylist: listen to customer needs, provide tailored styling advice, suggest complementary items and create complete looks.
- Drive sales through storytelling, relationship building and proactive clienteling to convert interactions into purchases and repeat visits.
- Execute omnichannel selling practices, including virtual selling and social media engagement, to support customer acquisition and retention.
- Maintain operational standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including inventory organisation and accurate POS transactions.
- Support a seamless checkout experience, reinforce customer choices, and invite customers to return.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Previous retail experience in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (local language proficiency where applicable).
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending and kneeling.

Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment with direct customer interaction; experience in styling, clienteling or sales-driven roles is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
