Kate Spade Sales Associate position in Novi, Michigan – engage customers with styling expertise and brand knowledge on a part-time basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and confidently, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and provide insightful styling advice tailored to personal aesthetics and lifestyle
- Suggest complementary products and create cohesive looks that encourage exploration of the full range
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Drive sales results through authentic customer storytelling and brand knowledge
- Maintain operational excellence, including accurate POS transactions, stockroom organization, and inventory management
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, public holidays, and peak retail periods
- Demonstrate willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- Give and receive constructive feedback in a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- English proficiency
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule accommodating peak seasons, weekends, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment, ideally in fashion, accessories, or luxury lifestyle retail.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail training or styling certifications a plus but not required.
Workplace
This position is based in Novi, Michigan, USA, within easy reach of Detroit.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
