Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with warmth and brand-appropriate confidence; establish rapport and demonstrate thorough product knowledge.
  • Conduct consultative styling conversations to discover customer needs and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product categories.
  • Drive sales through storytelling, suggest relevant add-ons, and close transactions via POS while ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
  • Showcase multiple ways to wear and use product assortments to inspire customers and encourage exploration of new styles.
  • Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including merchandising, inventory organization and accurate POS handling.
  • Contribute to team performance by giving and receiving constructive feedback and supporting store priorities during peak periods and events.
  • Work a flexible schedule — including nights, weekends, holidays and high-traffic retail days — and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stock movement.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
  • Prior experience working in a retail environment; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail preferred.
  • Comfort with multitasking, prioritizing responsibilities and collaborating within a team.
  • Social media awareness and a willingness to adopt omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and to climb, bend and manoeuvre in a retail environment.
