Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized client service and cultivate long-term customer relationships through targeted clienteling and follow-up.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs through proactive selling and upselling techniques.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation to brand standards, ensuring the sales floor and displays are market-ready at all times.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, process transactions, returns and exchanges, and handle cash securely.
  • Manage inventory activities including receiving, replenishment, stock rotation and basic inventory audits.
  • Support loss-prevention procedures and ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling and security protocols.
  • Contribute to team objectives, support ad hoc store tasks and participate in brand events, launches and client appointments as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales performance with a minimum of 2 years' experience; prior experience in luxury fashion or accessories strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrable clienteling and relationship-building skills with a track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Professional presentation, polished interpersonal skills and an ability to represent the Kate Spade brand with authenticity.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and reliable cash-handling practices.
