Kate Spade New York seeks a Sales Associate in Nashville, Tennessee to provide styling guidance and drive retail sales in a part-time role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently whilst demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand personal style preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest product add-ons, and curate complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade products into customers' existing wardrobes
- Showcase multiple styling possibilities to encourage customers to explore new aesthetic directions and express their individual style
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences using POS systems
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to build brand loyalty and encourage repeat visits
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across all brand categories and communicate brand attributes compellingly through storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and sales floor presentation
- Work collaboratively within the team, give and receive feedback constructively, and support colleagues during peak trading periods
- Operate with flexibility to accommodate business demands, including nights, weekends, public holidays, and high-traffic retail days
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a collaborative team setting
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
- Fluency in English

Prior professional experience in a retail environment or customer-facing sales role is required. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of strong customer engagement, product knowledge retention, and achievement of sales objectives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further retail, fashion, or business education is a plus.
