Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly; assess needs through active listening and insightful questioning.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete, on-brand looks that integrate Kate Spade products.
- Drive sales through consultative storytelling, product knowledge and relevant add-on recommendations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service across the in-store and omnichannel experience, including virtual selling.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and ensure a seamless checkout process.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, stockroom organisation and inventory replenishment.
- Support loss-prevention and housekeeping tasks on the sales floor; perform regular merchandising resets.
- Work a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing role; fashion or accessories experience preferred.
- Comfortable with omnichannel selling and social media as customer-engagement tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a retail team.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre in store and stockroom.

Prior experience working in a retail environment with direct customer interaction is required; demonstrable experience advising clients on styling or creating complete looks is desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or credentials in fashion, retail, or merchandising are desirable.
