Kate Spade seeks a Sales Associate in London to advise and style customers, support purchase decisions and deliver sales results through product knowledge, storytelling and strong customer connections. This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season and public holidays; the full-time equivalent annual base pay range is £28,275–£30,000, prorated for part-time hours, with actual compensation based on objective, job-related criteria.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
  • Listen actively and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
  • Provide styling advice, suggest complementary products and create complete looks.
  • Show creative ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles.
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
  • Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, encouraging customers to return.
  • Drive results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the brand and product attributes across all categories.
  • Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organisation and POS transactions.
  • Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
  • English proficiency or proficiency in the local language, as applicable to the market.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays.
