Kate Spade New York seeks a temporary Sales Associate in Livermore, CA. Drive sales through personalized styling and exceptional customer engagement at our San Francisco Premium Outlets location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently whilst demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs through insightful questioning and provide personalized styling advice and add-on suggestions
- Create complete, aspirational looks that showcase multiple ways to incorporate Kate Spade products into customers' existing wardrobes
- Guide customers through the purchase decision-making process and ensure a seamless, positive checkout experience
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Reinforce customer choices and celebrate purchases, inviting repeat visits and fostering brand loyalty
- Demonstrate awareness of social media and omnichannel selling techniques, embracing virtual and digital engagement opportunities
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or luxury goods
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with strong professional selling skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, high-traffic retail periods, and public holidays as required by business needs
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
- Proficiency in English or relevant local market language

Prior experience in a retail environment, with demonstrated success in customer-facing sales roles and a track record of building strong customer relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal tertiary education required.
