Kate Spade New York is hiring a part-time Sales Associate at Grand Canal Shoppes in Las Vegas, Nevada. $15–$19.50 hourly.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and aesthetic preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest coordinated add-ons, and create complete looks tailored to customer lifestyle
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting return visits
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive and professional manner
- Support omnichannel selling initiatives and develop awareness of virtual selling techniques
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment or customer-facing sales role
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Professional selling skills with ability to build rapport across diverse customer bases
- Strong multitasking abilities with capacity to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience in a customer-facing or sales capacity is required. Demonstrated success in building customer relationships, driving sales, and delivering exceptional service in a luxury or premium retail environment is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal education requirement specified.
