Kate Spade in North Conway, NH is hiring a part-time Sales Associate III to deliver styling, customer engagement and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and establish rapport; listen actively to understand customers’ aesthetic and lifestyle needs.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create coordinated looks across categories; suggest complementary items to increase basket size.
- Drive sales through storytelling and strong customer connections while maintaining a clienteling mindset.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and ensure seamless checkout and transaction accuracy.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, merchandising and inventory replenishment.
- Adapt presentation to demonstrate multiple ways to wear product and encourage customers to explore new styles.
- Work a flexible schedule—including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays—to support store traffic.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
