Kate Spade in New York is hiring a Sales Associate III to deliver luxury client service and achieve store sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client experiences that reflect Kate Spade’s brand aesthetic and service standards.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive selling, clienteling and upselling.
- Build and maintain a robust client book using CRM tools and follow-up activity to drive repeat business and long-term loyalty.
- Execute point-of-sale transactions accurately, including returns, exchanges and special orders, while adhering to cash-handling procedures.
- Ensure windows, fixtures and floor merchandising meet visual standards and seasonal directives; assist with store resets.
- Manage inventory tasks including stock replenishment, receiving, tagging and regular stock counts to maintain availability and loss-prevention controls.
- Support promotional events, private client appointments and VIP shopping experiences, including styling and product storytelling.
- Act as an ambassador for brand campaigns and product knowledge; provide feedback from clients to store leadership and visual teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in luxury, premium or fashion retail with a demonstrable sales track record.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships via CRM or clienteling programmes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an aptitude for consultative selling and styling.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail for accurate POS operation and inventory control.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.

Experience
At least 2 years of hands-on retail experience in a luxury or premium fashion environment with a consistent record of meeting sales goals and managing client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in fashion, business or retail management preferred but not required.
