Kate Spade New York seeks a Sales Associate III in Chesterfield, Missouri to deliver exceptional styling and customer service in a luxury retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
  • Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to inform styling recommendations
  • Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that encourage exploration of new styles
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience using POS systems
  • Maintain operational excellence through stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate transactions
  • Reinforce customer brand loyalty by celebrating purchase decisions and inviting repeat visits
  • Demonstrate proficiency in social media awareness and omnichannel/virtual selling techniques
  • Give and receive feedback in a constructive manner and contribute to team performance
  • Lift and maneuver merchandise regularly (up to 25 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, and kneeling

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Prior retail experience with demonstrated customer service excellence
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • English language proficiency (or local market language proficiency)
  • Flexibility to work a schedule accommodating nights, weekends, public holidays, and high-traffic retail periods
  • Physical capability to lift, climb, bend, kneel, and move throughout sales floor and stockroom

Experience

Compensation
