Kate Spade New York is hiring a Sales Associate III in Cabazon, California. Join our team as a styling advisor in luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers with warmth and confidence while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask strategic follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
- Provide expert styling advice, recommend complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase creative product applications and encourage customers to explore new styles and combinations
- Guide customers through the purchase decision process and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and strategic brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Demonstrate familiarity with social media platforms and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive, professional manner
- Safely lift, carry, and maneuver merchandise and materials weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly
- Work flexibly to accommodate business needs, including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and holidays
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Demonstrated prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team setting
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom

Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment is required. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales through relationship-building and consultative selling techniques.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
