Kate Spade New York is hiring a Sales Associate III in Cabazon, California. Join our team as a styling advisor in luxury retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers with warmth and confidence while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
  • Actively listen and ask strategic follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
  • Provide expert styling advice, recommend complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
  • Showcase creative product applications and encourage customers to explore new styles and combinations
  • Guide customers through the purchase decision process and ensure seamless checkout experiences
  • Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
  • Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and strategic brand storytelling
  • Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
  • Demonstrate familiarity with social media platforms and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
  • Give and receive feedback in a constructive, professional manner
  • Safely lift, carry, and maneuver merchandise and materials weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly
  • Work flexibly to accommodate business needs, including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and holidays

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated prior experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team setting
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
