Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage guests warmly while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade New York categories
  • Actively listen and pose insightful follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
  • Provide personalized styling advice, suggest coordinating products, and create complete looks that encourage exploration of new styles
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions using creative storytelling and product attributes to build customer connections
  • Ensure seamless checkout experiences and reinforce customer choices to encourage repeat visits
  • Maintain deep knowledge of brand heritage and product attributes across all merchandise categories
  • Manage operational responsibilities including stockroom organization, inventory awareness, and accurate POS transactions
  • Demonstrate social media awareness and willingness to support omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
  • Work flexibly to accommodate business needs including nights, weekends, seasonal peaks, and high-traffic retail days
  • Execute physical responsibilities including lifting merchandise (regularly up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending, and maneuvering across sales floor and stockroom

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Prior experience in a retail sales environment

  • Flexibility to work retail schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays
