Kate Spade in New York, NY is hiring a Sales Associate II for a client-facing retail position in a flagship boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a differentiated, concierge-level client experience that aligns with Kate Spade’s brand tone and visual identity.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, upselling and follow-up.
- Manage daily point-of-sale transactions, returns and accurate cash handling while maintaining store standards.
- Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation to brand guidelines, including window and floor displays.
- Build and maintain a client database; execute outreach, appointments and post-sale service to drive repeat business.
- Support inventory control activities including receiving, stockroom organisation, replenishment and loss-prevention procedures.
- Assist with opening/closing duties, store housekeeping and teamwork to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience, preferably 1–3 years in fashion, accessories or luxury retail.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and delivering high-quality client service.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills and polished presentation.
- Availability to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
- Reliable numeracy and experience with cash handling and transactional accuracy.

Typically requires 1–3 years of hands-on retail experience, ideally within luxury or contemporary fashion; prior clienteling and quota-driven sales experience preferred.
Education
