Kate Spade in Honolulu, HI is hiring a part-time Sales Associate at the Royal Hawaiian location to provide styling, drive sales and support retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised styling advice and product recommendations that reflect the customer’s aesthetic and lifestyle.
- Greet and engage guests warmly, listen actively to uncover needs and build lasting customer relationships.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggestive selling and creating complete looks including add-on items.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, manage inventory and process receipts.
- Support omnichannel and virtual selling initiatives, including social media engagement and remote clienteling when required.
- Perform routine physical tasks including lifting merchandise (regularly up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs) and merchandising duties.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment is required.
- Comfortable multitasking, prioritising and collaborating within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel/virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Experience
Prior retail experience demonstrating strong selling ability and customer service; experience in styling or fashion-forward client advising is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
